Galaxy Digital Holdings, the crypto financial services company founded by billionaire Michael Novogratz, has disclosed a $76.8 million exposure to collapsed exchange FTX and expects the turmoil in the industry to continue in the weeks ahead. Galaxy, which uses FTX to hold assets, said $47.5m worth of assets is currently in the withdrawal process, the company disclosed in its third-quarter results. FTX, cofounded in 2019 by chief executive Sam Bankman-Fried and Gary Wang, halted withdrawals on Tuesday, citing a liquidity crunch, and agreed to a buy-out offer from Binance, which has since backed out of the deal. Alastair Burt, a former Middle East minister, has said Iraq's leaders must take on the country's challenges and not simply hope that partners like the UK can play a greater role in the reconstruction of the state. The Super League Triathlon Championship season has concluded in NEOM after seven months of competition. Planning for the season started in April after the Saudi Triathlon Federation was invited to NEOM to attend a venue-scouting expedition along with Super League Triathlon and members of the NEOM Beach Games organizing committee, under the sports sector in the northwest Saudi city. Following the collaborations of the three organizations and action plan was put in place. The Supreme Court Monday upheld by a 3:2 majority, the 103rd amendment to the Constitution introducing a 10 per cent reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in admissions to educational institutions and government jobs. While Justices Dinesh Maheshwari, Bela M Trivedi and J B Pardiwala agreed that the amendment does not violate the basic structure of the Constitution, Chief Justice of India U U Lalit and Justice S Ravindra Bhat dissented.
